Tim is a resident of the Cayman Islands, a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada. He holds the Accredited Director designation granted by the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada and is registered as a Professional Director in the Cayman Islands pursuant to the Directors Registration and Licensing Act. Tim is also a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants and a founding member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association. Tim serves as a director on the boards of alternative investment funds and special purpose vehicles. Prior to joining IMS in 2012 he was a Senior Vice President at Maples Fiduciary Services, from 2007 to 2012, where his primary role was to serve as a director of Cayman Islands investment funds covering a wide range of strategies and structures. From 2000 to 2007 Tim worked at Citco Fund Services (Cayman Islands) Limited where he was a Senior Account Manager. He was responsible for managing the entire relationship for a large group of investment funds. During this time he liaised with investment managers, shareholders, auditors, legal counsel and other service providers on all matters. From 1998 to 2000 he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Cayman Islands where he provided audit, business and advisory services to asset management and other financial services clients. From 1991 to 1998 he worked for an accounting firm in London, Ontario, Canada.
